EmpowerMed Inc. (Atlanta, US)

For EmpowerMed we are developing and maintaining an EMR System since 2004. Product name: Ultimate Electronic Medical Record.

The development is based in the Python/Zope/Plone framework. Our responsibility in this project goes from specifying the features (use cases and other requirements), designing the system architecture (MVC), coding and testing together with users. The specs are being build together with the physicians and staff of a US Cardiology Practice.

In the interface we use CSS technology and a lot of Ajax machinery. From a software development process point of view, we use a specific methodology, very similar to XP, but specific tailored for Paradigma's offshore outsourcing relationship.

Tools we use are: git, Easy Redmine (bug tracker), selenium (test tool for web applications), portal for project content management.

The project was already deployed and is running in a Cardiology clinic in Miami named Cardiodade.

CoreBlox Ltd. (Rhode Island, US)

CoreBlox is a pioneer in Channel Services Management. CoreBlox solution provides a unified ticketing and knowledge management solution for its customers. The product was built in Python/Zope/Plone framework. Paradigma is responsible for evolving the product and also for keeping with the technology upgrades, mainly going to the new version of Plone (Plone 2.5). We also guarantee QA for the product, creating the "test cases" using the selenium suite for unit testing. Besides, we help CoreBlox with performance improvements using Squid, Apache and Apachebench, for load tests.

CoreBlox is partnering with Sales Force (salesforce.com) AppExchange program and Paradigma is helping them with the API integration or mashup. A mashup is a website or Web 2.0 application that uses content from more than one source to create a completely new service.
